Downsizing and relocation support
Downsizing can be stressful and exhausting. It may require a lot of emotional ability, good health, and time to sort and arrange the contents of a long-time family home in such a manner to distinguish between items to keep for future use and the different options to part with it. When people downsize and support is not nearby, or time, emotions, or health prevent them from doing so, assistance is available.
If the relocation requires unpacking and arranging in the new environment, we can assist with that as well.
Packing and forwarding personal belongings
When people are downsizing, there are always items that have sentimental or historical value. It may be required that those items have to be carefully packed and forwarded to family, friends or interested parties. We can professionally pack and forward it to the required destination/interested children/family.
Clearing and organising properties
When people are in emotional distress, like the loss of a loved one, there is support to clear the areas that you cannot do (living areas, bedrooms, working areas). It will be done with dignity and in close consultation with you. Items that are not needed can be donated or handed down according to your wishes.
Preparing homes for sale or handover
In times when the family home should be sold, the owner or responsible people do not have the emotional ability/health/time to sort and arrange the contents in such a manner to enable the estate agent to achieve the best price on the property. In many cases, support is also unavailable. Do not stress, we can assist.
Assisting with estate-related property contents
In some sad times, the estate executor is not in a position or has the time and means to clear a deceased estate property. We can assist and do it more quickly, and contribute to the speedy finalisation of the estate. All work is done in close consultation with the executor.
NOTE: We do not perform any executor’s work. We assist them with some of their duties under their supervision.
Final cleaning and property readiness
In most of the above cases, it is necessary to clean the property. We can arrange the cleaning, and we will supervise it
